Howto: Cabling Infrastructure

This document came about when I had been contracted by Total E&P to do a Cat 6A cabling installation with Cat 7e cable spanning 7 levels with complex fibre backbone using the ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B and ISO/IEC 11801 standards as a reference and needed to communicate to the contractors, who had no idea about data cabling infrastructure but were responsible for the installation of the data boxes, conduits and cable basket works. I came in very late to the project; in fact, they had already started the build phase, so instead of playing catch-up it was suggested (by a colleague, Keith Flowers) that I do some documentation to assist in this matter.
